Steam & Vintage Weekend 2008
| The event was held over the weekend of 26th and 27th April and was very popular this year, helped by good weather. Museum buses ran free services to and from Lowestoft bus and rail stations and were well patronised. | |

| A new attraction this year was the use of our new back road to operate miniature steam engines. Some lucky visitors were given rides on the trailers. | A display of steam models in action was run by the steam group and was fascinating to watch. |

| The grass area was host to a wonderful selection of Miltary vehicles. | One of the visiting steam rollers was this Aveling and Porter. |

| An impressive display of vintage cars were on display by Chapel Road railway station, once again utilising the roadway that wasnt available until this year. | |
