The Museum proudly boasts its very own shop and cafe that are open during museum
     hours.

   The Shop...

The museum shop stocks a wide range of souvenirs and gifts for all ages and tastes, and has an item to remember your day out by that suits everyone.  For the children there is a good selection of pocket money toys, many of which are transport related, and a range of stationery items such as pencils, pens and erasers, all bearing the museum name or logo.  For our more grown-up visitors we stock a popular selection of quality gift items including tea towels, mugs and handicraft kits as well as a large number of postcards suitable for everyone.

The shop is also proud to boast a large selection of books, photographs and models for our bus and rail enthusiast visitors, as well as larger pictures of museum vehicles, limited-edition mugs and items of clothing with a transport-related theme.  The shop is a must for all visitors and with its very reasonable prices, is always very popular.

   The Cafe...

The Terminus Tearooms Cafe has all that you would expect from a small museum refreshment facility with Walls ice creams, tea, coffee, canned drinks, snacks and sweets always on offer.  On many days the cafe also provides fresh cakes and sandwiches, as well as an ever increasing range of hot snacks; bacon rolls and hot soup being firm favourites!

If the weather is fine, as in our area during the summer months it often can be, visitors are welcome to take their selections from the cafe across the road to our outdoor seating area, where food can be enjoyed in the pleasant surroundings of our period street.

We invite visitors who wish to bring their own food with them on their day out to eat this in one of the picnic areas around the site.  In the centre of the street the park area is always a popular picnic location, as is the Hedley Grove tram terminus, accessible by tram or the woodland path.  The latter location allows peaceful, unspoilt views across the Suffolk countryside, and on a nice day is a spot not to be missed.
