A very successful event was held over the weekend of July 7th and 8th to celebrate the local firm of Eastern Coachworks. A large number of ECW buses atended over the two days, many being used on free services to Beccles and also to Lowestoft for photographs to be taken at the places used by Eastern Coachworks in its publicity shots. An evening run was made to the site of the coachworks at Eastern Way, the building now replaced by a superstore but using the same front line so easy comparisons can be made. The photographs below are only a small sample of the excellent varied selection of buses and coaches that attended to make this a very memorable event.

Many coaches saw further use downgraded to bus work. Devon General inherited this one as its only example. |
